STEWARDSHIP IS ALL ENCOMPASSING
It provides a place for the simplest individual gesture of kindness as well as stewardship communities working for systemic justice and peace. Stewardship flowing from a personal and communal relationship to Christ holds a particular attraction to people. It is, ultimately, the pull and the power of the Gospel come alive in our times and circumstances.” – Stewardship A Disciple’s Response A Pastoral Letter on Stewardship, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Washington, D.C.
At Our Lady of Lourdes + St. Anne, Stewardship takes many forms. The Cluster exists because parishioners realize that God works through each and every one of us so that our community can be the eyes, hands, ears, and feet of Christ for others. We identify our talents and choose the ways we will give back to strengthen our church.
With gratitude we recognize that our efforts alone are not enough to bring us the jobs, health, skills, resources, and family we enjoy. God plays a key role in our lives at every turn, and we thank God for partnering with us to achieve great things through Christ who strengthens us.
