Dear Friends,
Two weeks ago my brother and I were in Assisi on vacation. I had visited Assisi forty years ago as a seminarian, and was delighted to be able to see the city of St. Francis again. My brother had never been there and was quite taken with the place. Saturday was a beautiful day. After visiting the Basilica of St. Francis in the morning, and seeing St. Francis’ tomb, the frescoes by Giotto which tell the story of Francis’ life, and praying in the church, we were walking up the street when we came upon a musician playing the violin. Help the Students of School #23
Throughout Sept, we’re invited to help the students at School #33. Here’s a list of needs:
Pencils, Crayola markers / color pencils, Notebooks, Backpacks, and Flash cards. For extra credit: items like socks, underwear garments, gloves and hats etc. Please drop off your “first fruits” either at: The chapel at Lourdes. The library at St Anne. If you’d like to help transporting our collection to School #33, please contact the cluster office at 585-473-9656

THANKSGIVING DAY MASS Food Collection – Nov 28th, St. Anne’s
It is a tradition for parishioners attending Thanksgiving Day Mass to bring a donation
of food (canned or boxed) to be delivered to the Sr. Regis Food Cupboard on Bay
Street. If you would like to drop off a donation before Thanksgiving, there will be a bin
outside the Cluster office at Our Lady of Lourdes, November 23-27 during the day 9
a.m. – 4p.m. Thank you so much – your Cluster Social Ministry Committee
