Today we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, which recalls Mary and Joseph taking the infant Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem where they offered a pair of doves in sacrifice for him. Before the liturgical renewal of the Second Vatican Council, February 2nd was known as The Feast of the Purification of Our Lady, because Mary and Joseph also made that visit to the Temple for Mary’s ritual purification after child-birth.  More >

The St. Anne / Our Lady of Lourdes Cluster
has partnered with Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity to build houses! We currently have 67 participants! Won’t you consider joining us? Volunteers control their work schedule; no minimum number of days required. Workdays are typically 9:00 to 3 :00; are crewed with our Cluster members; and directed by a Habitat Field Supervisor. Household Items Needed For Newly Arrived Refugee Families!
For each family that arrives in the Rochester area, Catholic Charities’ Family and Community Services(CCFCS) sets up homes with basic living necessities and warm clothing. Most needed at this time are:
· Gently used blankets
· Sheet sets (twin and doubles)
· Cleaning supplies
· Winter coats and boots (for adults & children)
Kindly drop off donations at the parish office for either Our Lady of Lourdes or St Anne.
